In Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, set generations after Caesar’s death, apes have become the dominant species on Earth while most surviving humans have reverted to an animalistic state, unable to speak. Noa, a young chimpanzee hunter, prepares for his coming-of-age ceremony in his falconry clan when a human scavenger unintentionally leads ape raiders to his village. The brutal attack leaves his father dead, and his clan captured by the tyrannical gorilla general, Sylva.
Determined to rescue his people, Noa embarks on a dangerous journey with Raka, an orangutan who shares Caesar's teachings, and Nova, a human who surprisingly can speak. Along the way, they discover that Noa’s clan is enslaved by Proximus Caesar, a tyrant ape king obsessed with accessing human technology from an ancient vault. Mae, the human who calls herself Nova, seeks to destroy the vault's weapons and retrieve a key that could restore speech to humanity.
Noa and his allies secretly plant explosives around the settlement to thwart Proximus’ plans. In the final showdown, Noa faces Proximus, using his clan's eagles to overpower the tyrant and send him to his demise. Mae succeeds in preventing the apes from obtaining the vault's weapons and later reactivates a satellite network, connecting intelligent human settlements worldwide. The movie ends with Noa and Mae questioning whether apes and humans can ever peacefully coexist, despite their profound differences.
This gripping tale of survival and power struggles explores the fragile relationship between apes and humans in a world reshaped by time, while delivering action-packed moments and deep philosophical questions about coexistence and the future.
